Amazing Asian fusion restaurant. Perfect sized menu. Usually 4 or 5 really good Vermont beers on tap. Mixed drinks. All of the food is fresh and you can tell as soon as you take a bite. I recommend the Korean barbecue chicken tacos.

Always a hit, food is amazing and large portions. Great beer and fun sake cocktails and eclectic atmosphere. Free arcade game was a plus for the kid

The owner is dillusional. He allows his cat to walk on top of the bar and anywhere in the kitchen. When I mentioned I had an issue, he berated me in front of my wife and local townspeople. He has also violently confronted a friend of mine all about a request to turn down the music. I'm disappointed I'm never going there because the food is adequate but his attitude is something no American should put up with. I caution you before going there and you'll thank me later when you aren't dealing with Cat hair on your food. By the way, the owner claims the Cat presence has been approved by the health inspector. He's volatile and NO ONE SHOULD WASTE THEIR MONEY!!!

Can't beat this place! They have an awesome selection of local VT craft beers. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced. My only tip would be go early and go on a week day if you want a seat!

I absolutely appreciate Samurai for their food, their hospitality, their love for the community. They work hard every single day to feed and serve the people who appreciate.

In a word: fun. Timely service even with a packed house and to go orders. Pad Thai was delicious. Healthy list of local craft beers and ciders. Playlist fits their decor with classic, sing-able rock. Kids experienced the glory of MacGyver for the 1st time.

What a great surprise! Delicious food, fun vibe, accommodating service. This is a small restaurant and they get packed! I am amazed the kitchen can produce great consistent results with the space they have. When it is busy you will have to wait a little but it is worth it! keep up the good work!

I love this place. Great service in a super casual, unpretentious atmosphere--but with a menu and craft beer selection which has earned the right to brag.My only compliant is "Where were you, Samurai Soul Food when I lived in the area?!?" 😭

When you consider they have Asian, Tex Mex and American cuisine, all in one place, it's no wonder the kitchen staff and the decor is a little crazy! It's a fun place with some great and unique food!

I love that there is a restaurant like this by where I live. The food is delicious - a mix between asian and southern, and the service is great. It's small, but cozy. Everything is locally sourced. We've been a few times and will definitely be back!

Just what this area needed. It takes a lot for me to say "this place is amazing" but I said that here. The restaurant chefs are the owners. They show great pride in there food. This is by far my favorite restaurant in the area. I highly recommend everyone giving it a try you will be highly satisfied. I recommend the fish tacos or the fried chicken.

Great eighties feel (decor) with modern day price's. Unique and up beat. Can get crowded very quickly. Menu makes me curious to try most items. Not open everyday, check it out .

The food and drinks are delicious! Great service in a great atmosphere. In the words of my brother, "it's the kind of place where you want to try everything on the menu". I'd definitely recommend going on the earlier side, they fill up fast!

I wanted to love the food because the hostess was super lovely and the service was quick but I just didn’t get it. The fried chicken was essentially fried dough + chicken it should have been called doughnut chicken. The tiki masala totally lacked flavor and the fried rice was just really salty. Almost didn’t taste like restaurant quality food. I’m so sorry. I hate leaving this review. Love the albums on the wall. Maybe it was me 🤷🏻‍♀️

One of the best places to eat in Fairlee! Really good food and they will make it as you like it. The atmosphere is very comfortable, relaxing, plenty of seating, great music, and Richard the Mascot is by far my favorite. As a side note, the chef's are really friendly, easy going, aim to please and easy on the eyes 😊 Love you Travis and Kal! Give this place a try if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed!!

Peculiar roadside restaurant that serves amazing crossovers between American comfort food and Asian cuisine. Great beer selection too. Highly recommended.

Tiny restaurant with big taste! I love the atmosphere and the music. The owner John puts out food that literally makes your mouth water! I would eat here every day if I could!!

Food was tasty. Staff was very friendly. Wait was very long. Menu is limited - but flavorful. No soda - mainly bar type drinks. Inside was very warm and very loud so we sat outside.

Food was delicious. Everything was reasonably priced (especially the cocktails). I wished I'd gotten to try other things but only had room for one! Can't wait to go back.

Went there the other day with my friend. Nice atmosphere but food was pretty terrible AND expensive. I’m not picky but the chicken wings weren’t cooked enough and had chewy skin, the summer roll shell was hard with flavorless sauce, the fried chicken was soggy and flavorless. The first time we went was disappointing as well. Not going back.

Chill vibes! Great family experience - we want to go back to try the rest of the menu. Warm crowd of all ages. This place would fit right in back in my nakazakicho neighborhood in Osaka. Interesting sake based drinks.
